A version number on the title screen

A Short Sail now shows its version and build in the corner of the title screen, so a bug report always says which build it came from.

The boat arrives at the dock of Pebble Isle, a small island with palm trees and a hut.

This one is small, but it will save me a lot of guessing.

Version 0.1.0

A Short Sail is now at version 0.1.0, the first tagged release. Each build also knows the short code of the change it was built from. The settings already showed both at the bottom, and feedback reports and exported saves carry them too.

Now the title screen shows them as well, in a small, faint label at the top right. It reads like v0.1.0 · 34c8dde, and the demo adds Demo at the end. I put it at the top, because the full screen button already has the bottom right corner.

Why it matters

When someone tells me about a bug, the first thing I need to know is which build they played. With the label on the title screen, a screenshot answers that.

Saves that grow with the game

Version 0.1.0 also gave saves a version of their own. When a save comes from an older build, the game keeps a backup copy, then brings the save up to date one step at a time. A save from a newer build is never written over. So as the game changes, your little cat and boat stay safe.
