What A Short Sail is
A Short Sail is a cozy sailing game. You are a little tabby cat with a little boat. The islands need their post, and you are the one who carries it. There is no combat and there are no timers, so you go at your own pace.
What you can do in the demo
- Sail. Take the little boat out of Home Cove and across the sea.
- Deliver mail. Pick up letters and parcels and carry them to the islanders.
- Fish. Cast a line from your boat and see what bites.
- Make friends. Stop for a chat on every island you find.
- Look around. Dig, read and poke around, and start to uncover the secrets of the islands.
The demo ends when you earn your second Golden Thread.
How to play
The demo plays in a desktop browser. Use a keyboard and mouse or a controller.
Controls: W A S D walk or sail; Shift run or boost; E talk, read, board, fish, dig; drag to look; I inventory; J journal; M map; P photo mode; Esc or O settings; F full screen.
Your progress saves in the browser. If you clear your browser data, or play in a private window, your progress goes away.
